At HeyMeet.AI, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may request a refund for your subscription. All payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), which acts as our Merchant of Record.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscription plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of your initial purchase or renewal.

  • The 14-day period begins on the date of the charge
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • You do not need to provide a reason for your refund request within this period

3. How to Request a Refund

4. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests are typically processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle once the refund has been processed

5. After the 14-Day Period

After the 14-day money-back guarantee period, refund requests are handled in accordance with Paddle's buyer terms and refund policy. You may contact us or Paddle directly to request a refund.

6. Abuse and Fair Use

We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect patterns of abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds across multiple billing cycles
  • Excessive usage of the Service (e.g., consuming a disproportionate amount of API resources) shortly before requesting a refund
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit the refund guarantee
  • Any other activity that indicates the refund policy is being used in bad faith

We incur third-party costs (including AI model API fees) for every request processed through the Service. Abusive refund behavior that results in significant unrecoverable costs may lead to account suspension and denial of future refund requests.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Free trials: Trial periods are free of charge and do not involve any payment
  • BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) API usage: Any charges incurred on your own API keys through third-party providers are outside our control and cannot be refunded by us
  • Partial month usage: We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods after the 7-day guarantee window

8. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund — please submit a refund request separately if applicable

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur processing fees and may result in the suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving any billing disputes promptly and fairly.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. The refund terms applicable to your purchase are those in effect at the time of your transaction.
